Hello! I haven't really got any writing done for aaages, which sucks, but at some point I did manage to get a few chunks of my Sami-Generico parallel universe fic done and I'm quite pleased with this opening scene. It's not going to be finished anytime soon, but I thought I'd share it anyway.

Ch1: “He went off to do whatever he does when people aren’t around him...”

He was grocery shopping when the fog hit. He didn’t notice it at first, he never did; it only became clear this time when he dropped a can of beans into his basket and it fell through the basket onto the floor with a clatter. He bent over to pick it up, but there was no can anymore, and then there was no floor. The fingers of his left hand closed until they were against his palm, no longer holding a handle.
